Our TOMMASEO guesthouse is located in the heart of the historic center of Trieste, inside a prestigious building owned by Generali, above the prestigious Tommaseo café. As we take the elevator up to the 2nd floor, once we receive the access codes, we will be able to enter our room autonomously, put down our luggage and go for a walk to visit the beautiful Piazza Unità d'Italia, the daring pier, the shores and the Castle of San Giusto.

We would like to remind you that the TOMMASEO facility is a guesthouse, not a hotel, so there is no 24-hour front desk (but don't worry, you will be able to count on the help of the staff who followed you to check in) and there is no breakfast service.
You can request linen change and room tidying up for an extra charge.

TOMMASEO 1 is a bright triple room equipped with a double bed and a single bed and can accommodate up to 3 people.

The bathroom is private; there is a bathtub, toilet and bidet.

Nearest paid parking lots: Park San Giusto and Park Molo IV°.

OTHER SERVICES AVAILABLE: Wi-Fi network, air conditioning, small refrigerator, kettle.

There is central heating. Air conditioning with heat pump function is also available.

SOME THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND:
- 2-3 days before your arrival, you will be contacted by our staff to register your documents through our Guest Portal and pay the Tourist Tax due to the City of Trieste, which is EUR 1.50.
We need this procedure to verify your data and documents and to send the information to the "Alloggiati Web" police service, which is the Italian procedure for lodging guests in Italy.

- Check in is possible from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. If you wish to check in at a different time, please indicate this on your reservation or send us an email and we will check availability.
- Check out is to be done by 10:00 am. This is to allow the housekeeping staff to prepare and sanitize the room for the next guests. If you need a late check out, please tell us as soon as possible. Late check out is an extra service with an extra cost.
- The day of your arrival, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., you can come directly to our office and carry out the identification; we are located at 15a Trento Street, only a 2-minute walk from Trieste Central Station. The guest identification procedure is mandatory even if you have already completed the online check-in.
- The front desk will then provide you with the codes and instructions to take the keys which are kept in a padlock at the entrance of the facility and enter the guesthouse in complete autonomy.
- Turning on and off air conditioning and heating are subject to compliance with current Italian regulations (DPR 16/04/2013 n.74):
In summer, the average air temperature must not be lower than 26°C for all types of buildings.
In winter, the weighted average of air temperatures must not exceed 20°C.

NB. Unfortunately in our apartments, pets are NOT allowed.
